platinum video concept (shots of band playing through out video)
(Music Begins).......woman walking down hall in apartment building. Stops to check mail at mailboxes in main hall.
(You can't escape)..... woman unlocks door, walks in room to table, sorts mail and tosses it all on the table except for 1 letter
(what might have been)... sits down in chair, reads letter and begins crying,
(whats this to you anyway?)..... walks to fireplace and tosses the letter in it
(chorus) hears band playing one story above her, listens to words, paces the room between chair and and bed begins to fidget
(you found your way)... sits in chair, rocks back and forth listening to words
(nothing common suits you)... stands up, gathers photos of man from tables around the room
(look away for now)........ show band playing, cut to girl standing in from of mirror, make-up running down her face, holding photos in her hand.....
(who decides to)...... band playing, cut to girl walking to fireplace
(maybe nobody really)... looks at photos, tosses them into fireplace, show photo's burning
(chorus)...... walks out doo leaving it wide open, walks up stairs to door where music is coming from, watches band play and listens to words
(something dirty)..... jay slowly walks to her, singing to her, their eyes lock, jay starts to walk circles around her, she turns to watch him
(your better off)....... girl begins crying, but continues to turn to watch jay, falls to kness and jay helps her up
(your better off)(something dirty's).. 2 jays walk circles around her, singing, she tries to watch them both, tears start running down her face
(music ends) girl falls to knees just before music ends, opens her eyes and the room is empty
